Tropical Storm Fay continues tracking towards the Florida Keys after passing over the western portion of Cuba Monday morning.
Fay is following the path predicted by the National Hurricane Center and is expected to reach the Keys by Monday evening and make landfall on the Floriday peninsula on Tuesday.
Traffic moved slowly out of the Florida Keys on Sunday as up to 25,000 visitors and residents evacuated the area.
The Florida Governor declared a state of emergency on Saturday. Authorities are urging residents to prepare for Fay which is expected to reach hurricane strength.
