Universal goes over its capital budget

In 2009, the resort spent $130 million on capital projects. Most of this money has gone into the Harry Potter attraction and the recently opened Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster. When 2009 started, Universal had budgeted $110 million, but has already exceeded that by $20 million and the attraction isn't finished yet.
