Walt Disney World chefs to cook at White House
by Leah ZanollaMar 8, 2010
Two Walt Disney World chefs will have the honor of cooking at the White House Tuesday night. President Barack Obama is hosting a meal for 400 guests, including the Greek Prime Minister, George Papandreou, and has asked the chefs from Kouzzina by Cat Cora to prepare the meal. Chef Dee Foundoukis and Chef George Paterakis will join celebrity chef Cat Cora to cook the Greek meal. The meal will feature several dishes from Kouzzina, including the Fisherman's Stew, which is a stew of scallops, lobster, shrimp, clams and ouzo butter. One of the desserts will be loukoumades, a Greek donut that is drizzled with honey.
Kouzzina by Cat Cora opened on Disney's Boardwalk in September 2009.
