A hotel employee at the
Disneyland Resort has accused Disney of discriminating against her by refusing to let her wear a Muslim head scarf to work. Imane Boudlal works as a hostess in the
Storytellers' Cafe. Boudlal claims she has been sent home four times this week for wearing her head scarf at work. She has worked for the Disney company for two years, but has only attempting to wear the scarf recently, after becoming a U.S. citizen in June. Suzi Brown, Disneyland spokeswoman, said that the company attempted to remedy the situation by offering Boudlal a behind the scenes job while a more permanent decision can be made.
