Gunshots were fired overnight Monday, January 2, in Universal CityWalk's parking garage. Orlando police had been called to the area around 2:40 am to check out an argument in progress between several males. As they were on their way, they heard two gunshots come from the same area.

Police found three people hiding in a car and then held them by gunpoint until backup arrived. A fourth man had fled the scene; officers caught up to him near Major Boulevard. Trevor Shillingford, 24, was found with a .45 handgun in his pocket, along with a small bag of marijuana.

According to the suspects, Shillingford and his cousin started arguing in the parking garage, which led Shillingford to fire one shot into the air and another at the ground. According to cfnews13.com, police charged Shillingford with discharging a firearm in public, possession of marijuana and other weapon violations.
