Universal Studios employee arrested for theft

Matthew Massengale worked at a Dippin' Dots cart, where a secret shopper observed him taking money while ringing up customers' orders. The secret shopper then paid with a pre-marked bill, which was later found in Massengale's pocket. Police found $346 in his pockets, that he later admitted belonged to Universal. On Thursday, July 25, Massengale was arrested for theft; he has since placed bond and is no longer being held in the Orange County Jail.
