Universal confirms Harry Potter expansion

Like its Florida counterpart, the Hogwarts castle will be the icon and centerpiece of the area. J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, says that she is "delighted that The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has been so popular with fans since the opening in Orlando last year and I am sure that the teams at Universal and Warner Bros. will bring their expertise and attention to detail to Hollywood to make this new experience equally as exciting."
In addition to this announcement, officials briefly touched on expansion plans for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando. No real details were shared, only that plans are in the works for an expansion of the current area. More details will be released as they are finalized.
