Universal Orlando has raised ticket prices for the second time in less than two weeks. On May 30, a one-day one-park ticket increased $3, from $85 to $88. A few days later, on June 3, Walt Disney World tickets went up as well; a one-day one-park ticket increased from $85 to $89. Now, one week later, Universal has announced that they are raising their prices again - up one dollar to $89, the same as Disney. At the time Universal first raised prices, they became the most expensive theme park to visit in the U.S. When Disney raised their prices, they took over that title.

Normally, Disney raises their prices first, then Universal and SeaWorld follow suit. This time, Universal made the first move and it appears that they were unhappy with the results that followed.
