Universal Studios is in the test phase for their new nighttime show, "Universal's Cinematic Spectacular: 100 Years of Movie Memories." With an opening date set for May 8, the show is in technical rehearsals. Theme park guests last weekend were able to see one of the first run-throughs for the show. There isn't an advance published schedule for the rehearsals, but guests will be notified with in-park signage when a rehearsal is planned for that day.

The new show will feature memorable moments from classic Universal films projected onto huge water screens, all set to a musical score and voice-over by Oscar award-winning actor, Morgan Freeman. Pyrotechnics and other special effects will complete the experience.
