Combine some of the world's finest automobiles with a track specifically designed for drivers to safely experience their awe-inspiring acceleration, speed and handling and you have "Exotic Driving Experience". Exotic Driving Experience features supercars by Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, and Porsche.

An interior road course-style section at the track was designed specifically for this Exotic Driving Experience. This track features a series of quick, challenging right and left-hand turns, known as "switch backs." Complete with barriers and rumble strips, this section replaces the frontstretch of the oval when the supercars are on the track and, together with the backstretch, comprises another one-mile layout which has been named The Exotics Course at Walt Disney World SPEEDWAY.

Thrill Ride Hours of Operation: Thrill Rides are given on a first come, first serve basis, schedule permitting. No reservations are required. Thrill Rides are offered every day, generally between 9am and 4pm, on The Exotics Course at Walt Disney World SPEEDWAY in Orlando, Florida. Please note that all programs are subject to close if the weather is inclement. Call ahead to verify that the track is open. Book this experience at the beginning of your vacation, that way it allows time for a reschedule later on your trip if needed. Florida is notorious for crazy weather patterns.

Remember there is little to NO shade, loud engines and fumes. Keep all that in mind when bringing along small children.

Track is located behind the Magic Kingdom parking lot, or in front of the Polynesian. All driving experiences include 40-minutes of instruction before you climb in the driver seat. Driving equipment is provided, but you must wear closed-toe shoes. At the end of your driving experience, you will receive a Graduation certificate and a lap-time sheet, showing your fastest lap.

What is a general driving itinerary timeline?
Participants should arrive at the Walt Disney World Speedway 30 minutes prior to their scheduled driving time for check-in. Check-in includes verification of driver's license, Liability Waiver and Participant Information (Medical) Form.

• :5 minutes Orientation and Video
  Meet Exotic Driving Experience staff & watch a short video on the Exotic Driving Experience.
  
  
• :45 minutes Instruction
  Learn from your Instructor how to master the track driving line, acceleration points, paddle shifting, safety features and more.
  
  
• :5 minutes Mandatory Driver's Meeting
  This is the time to go over final details, ask last minute questions and receive the driving order. Participants will have their photo(s) taken next to their sports car.
  
  
• 1 hour (approx.) Driving Experience
  Drivers cycle through sports car selection on the track with their right seat instructors. Time varies based on experience and number of drivers. Participants driving will receive feedback from the right seat instructor during the entire driving experience. The Participants must listen and execute what the right seat instructor says at all times. Failure to follow instruction from the right seat instructor will result in the forfeiture of remaining laps.
  
  
• :10 minutes Closing Ceremony Participants will receive a Graduation Pack, including a detailed lap-time sheet showing each lap driven.

What is the Driver Release Fee?
The Driver Release Fee is in lieu of a "crash clause" requiring each participant to commit a certain amount that will be forfeited in the event of an incident/crash. EDE provides that each driver who pays the $35 Driver Release Fee will not be responsible for most damage to the car resulting from an incident/crash at the track. Only in the event that a driver intentionally or negligently fails to follow the clear instructions of the in-car instructor which leads to an incident/crash will EDE seek financial recompense for resulting damage to the vehicle.

How fast will I be able to go?
Top speed varies according to student performance and the limits set for each program. The coach in the passenger seat does have a little bit of control on how fast the car goes. If the instructor sees that you are not following his instructions, he has the ability to lower the horsepower on the car.

Are there any age requirements?
To participate in the driving experiences students must be at least 18 years. Participants for the Thrill Rides must be at least 14 years old. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Do I need any prior racing experience?
No experience is required, but you must have a valid driver's license.

Are the cars automatic or manual?
The cars are all computer assisted (Formula 1 style) paddle shift manual transmissions that can be driven like an automatic if necessary. The guest will have the option of using the paddle shifters to go up and down gears to reach the ideal speed. If the guest makes a mistake the computer will correct the guest.

What is provided and what do I need to bring?
All participants are provided a helmet. Participants must wear closed-toe shoes.

Are there weight and height restrictions?
There are no weight or height restrictions for this experience. Participants must be able to fit in the sports car the participant selected.

What if a participant doesn't show?
If a student fails to check in, they may be substituted with another participant in your group. Sorry, refunds and credit certificates are not available.
