Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 6608

Notes The location of this room was probably one of the best from my many cruises. It was super convenient to get anywhere on the ship and it right near the laundry facilities and elevators. However, this room is EXTREMELY noisy. It is sit right above the Buena Vista Theater and we happen to be on the sailing where they would constantly play the new Star Wars movie. It literally woke my kids from their sleep and we had to contact guest services. The bass and the rumbling of every movie was heard very well. I will say that after contacting guest services they seemed to do whatever it was to fix the problem for us. I truly believe they turned it down a bit because it wasn't as bad for the rest of the cruise. They even sent chocolate covered strawberries to our room which was nice. Overall the room and the views are fantastic, but make sure you call down to guest services should you be bothered by the noise.

Notes Room in expected condition, clean. There was a sound that was noticed through the cruise, almost like a plumbing noise, high pitched but not a squeak. Also, from time to time, bass from the movie could be felt/heard in the bathroom

Notes Our room was excellent. Conveniently located on the Starboard side for great views of both the port of Cozumel and Castaway Cay. Also close to aft elevators, Cabanas buffet for breakfast, & drink station. Spacious, clean, everything in working order except for the outlet at the desk was loose and not functioning very well. We reported this on the survey at the end of the cruise. A bit noisy from the theater below, most nights this was fine as we didn't go to sleep until midnight and the movies were done by then. but the final night they premiered a new movie starting at midnight.I'm a sound sleeper so it didn't affect me but my husband could hear the noise quite clearly. Overall great room, we had a more forward room last time which I think I preferred but both rooms were great!

Notes We loved the location of this room. We could hear some creaking at night, but nothing that would keep us awake. Railing on verandah needs refinishing.

Notes Noisy at night sometimes (I noticed it but kids did not) as I could hear faint "booms" and feel vibrations from the theater below). Room was in good condition- nothing wrong. Clean and great views from the veranda (sea at Nassau, Flying Dutchman and CC shore at CC). As long as we kept our personal belongings organized, there was enough room for our family of four. Nice room overall!

Notes Great room and Great location. Starboard side, so we were on the port side when coming home and had a view of the action at Castaway Cay. Sleeps 4 (bunk bed) and with a trunk for storage. Not a connecting room and didn't notice any additional noise that you might not have heard being anywhere else on the ship. Easy conection to Aft elevators and easy walk to the kids clubs on 5.

Notes We found the room to be in a great location to get to the pools and dining. There were 2 adults and 2 kids and we thought the room was big enough for all our things. We weren't bothered by any noise from the theater. I have rebooked this room again for 2011.

Notes Really enjoyed the room. Some areas were looking a little tired, but nothing that was really bad. Minor noise from hallway traffic. Easy to get to kids clubs and laundry.
