Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 8070

Notes We loved the location of the room--very close to the stairs and elevators. Never heard elevator noise and only heard the stairs when people (we are assuming children) ran up or down. We liked the easy access as our room was only 3 doors down from the stair/elevator entrance. It was very easy to go up to the pool deck and we got plenty of exercise walking down to the kid clubs and restaurants. We did feel that the connecting door, which was NOT used by us on this cruise, let more noise in than we expected. The verandah was small but we enjoyed it. The room size was just right for the three of us and we appreciated the split bathroom. Plenty of storage in closet, drawers and shelves. We didn't need a shoe organizer so I'm glad I didn't purchase one.

Notes upgraded to this family stateroom there was only two of us and we loved the extra space there was a leather chair (comfortable) so you didnt have to sit on the couch or the bed. new flat screen tv . a little noise from time to time from deck 9(chairs moving) but never lasted to long and it never bothered me . great room , location, quiet location!! downside you will not get a view of the port once it docks( at least on the western cruise) minor issue though. i would definitely stay in 8070 again

Notes We were "upgraded" to this room from a cat 11 with a leaking ceiling (see 6583 report) so really couldn't complain at all. The location was fantastic - just a really short walk and up the stairs to Topsiders and the drink station. We did hear chairs moving on deck 9 if we had the veranda door open but couldn't hear it when the door was closed.

Notes connecting room but no noise from the other room! great location. extra leather chair in the room was great!! we were upgraded. this is a family room so there was a little extra space loved it. on occassion you would hear chairs moving from deck 9 but it only lasted for a second or two didnt bother me at all. not on the side where you can see the ports was the only down side but i would definitley stay in this cabin again

Notes Loved the location - close to aft elevators, quick hop up the stairs to beverage station - which was great. Connecting room. Noise was not noticed from connection because our group was also in the connecting room and we had inner doors open a lot. (Also see 8068)
