Turn a Retro Disney Park Map Into the Ultimate Cake

There is a birthday coming up in my family, and I have been quietly searching for the perfect birthday cake to celebrate the occasion. The requirements are: very impressive looking, with minimal actual effort. I’m time-poor, and while I love to cook, my schedule doesn’t always afford me the time to do it. When I found the perfect solution to my problem, I knew I had to share it with our DIS Community, and you’re about to see why.

What is cooler than celebrating your Disney love with a themed birthday? There wouldn’t be many among us who haven’t enjoyed some sort of Disney-themed party over the years. I found two sheet cake decorating hacks that bring back the retro side of Disney with two of the original theme park maps from Disneyland and EPCOT. The Disneyland one is perfect for my application since the recipient was born in the same year, 1955. Let’s take a look:

Admittedly, I likely won’t be adding in all the smaller writing because, let’s face it, that’s above my pay grade, but I am absolutely committed to pulling off the general idea. Let me know if you’ve ever tried something similar and how it turned out.
