I don’t know about you, but whenever Walt Disney World announces a new special event, I’m all about it. I didn’t go to Disney Jollywood Nights in its debut year since I no longer lived in Florida, but most reviews I read last year were unfortunately not spectacular. Personally, I allow a bit of grace when it comes to these kinds of events because I love to see Disney trying new things. Some of the best things come to fruition when someone or a group of people come up with an idea that really takes off.
This will be the event’s second year, and we’ve already seen new entertainment added like Glisten! – the ice skating spectacular, and more. I REALLY love that Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! holiday fireworks are part of the event as well.
Now let’s talk about the Disney characters who will be at this shindig! The list is longer than it was last year and these friends are wearing the merriest duds; take a look!

What a treat to be able to see Panchito, the Mexican charro rooster, and José Carioca, the Brazilian parrot!
Scrooge McDuck makes an appearance too – and at a holiday party, even!
I love seeing this closer look at Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, who look very dapper in their festive costumes. I can never get enough of seeing them in different outfits!
