Don’t Miss the Energetic Viva Navidad at California Adventure

One of my favorite parts of the holidays at the Disneyland Resort is the Viva Navidad Street Party in Disney California Adventure. The energetic performance is held in the Paradise Gardens Park area of the park and is one of my don’t-miss entertainment options.

This year, the show is only being performed on weekends, but there is still plenty of time for you to catch the party. Especially with the cast putting on 6 shows each day!

What I love about this show is that Disney has brought in local performers to participate, including dancers and musicians, so the show seems more authentic.

The show stars The Three Caballeros, plus a couple of special guests that will arrive later. Panchito starts things off with a mariachi band and folkloric dancers from Mexico.

Next, Jose Carioca introduces a troupe of Brazilian dancers and drummers, including one of my favorite performers, who seems to return year after year.

Finally, our special guests arrive and the entire cast joins forces for a rousing rendition of Feliz Navidad.

Grab yourself a treat and beverage, then head over to Paradise Gardens Park to catch one (or two) performances of the Viva Navidad Street Party. It will definitely make you smile and you’ll probably find yourself singing along.
