Disneyland shows off Guardians of the Galaxy model

This week on the Disney Parks Blog, Imagineers showed off a model of what the Guardians of the Galaxy attraction will look like when it opens next summer.

Themed to look like The Collector’s Fortress, Guardians of the Galaxy-Mission: BREAKOUT! will begin major construction after the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror closes on January 2nd.

According to Imagineer Joe Rohde, the building is designed to be intimidating, but also regal, and will be the perfect location for The Collector to show off his new acquisitions….the Guardians of the Galaxy.
