Disney’s “Gingerbread Academy” to benefit Give Kids The World

According to the Disney Parks Blog, Disney’s Boardwalk Resort will feature the “Gingerbread Academy” this holiday season. At the “Gingerbread Academy,” guests can decorate a gingerbread cookie for $8.95. All proceeds from the gingerbread cookie will go to Give Kids The World, which is a nonprofit resort for families who have a child with a life-threatening illness. Give Kids The World allows these families to visit the Orlando theme parks, including Walt Disney World, with donated theme park tickets.

In addition, the “Gingerbread Academy” will also allow guests to build their own gingerbread houses to take home. The cost for a gingerbread house is $125 for four guests to build. Hot chocolate and apple cider are also included. There will be a cupcake for $10.95 that can be decorated as well.
