Today, at D23: Destination D more information was released about Star Wars Land by Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek. According to the Disney Parks Blog, a new adventure will be added to Star Tours – the Adventure Continues, and will be based on “elements from Star Wars Episode 8.” Currently Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm are working together on the production of the new mission.
Also at D23: Destination D attendees were shown the image featured above. This is the first glimpse of what Star Wars Land will look like at night at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World. Both Star Wars Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida and Disneyland Park in California are currently under construction.
