Sake & Shine progressive dinner event with Chef Masaharu Morimoto and Chef Art Smith

A special dinner event has been announced that will feature Chef Masaharu Morimoto and Chef Art Smith. The progressive dinner will take place on December 3, 2016 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at both Chef’s respective restaurants at Disney Springs in Orlando, FL; Morimoto Asia and Chef Art Smith’s Homecoming Florida Kitchen.

Guests will get started with dinner on the 2nd floor terrace of Morimoto Asia with a “three-course Pan-Asian feast” featuring a few of Chef Morimoto’s favorite dishes including “Alaskan King Crab and Nantucket Bay Scallop ‘Ankake’ over crispy noodles, five-spiced brasied beef short rib with a Sansho Peppercorn Sauce and Wilted Dou Milao, and a very special sushi course showcasing the very best ingredients from Chef Morimoto’s native, Japan.”

After dinner, guests will head over to Homecoming, where Chef Art Smith will welcome everyone to enjoy dessert. On the menu is a “Build-Your-Own-Florida-Strawberry-Shortcake-Bar” along with Chef Smith’s signature Hummingbird and Shine Cakes.

Also included will be a variety of beer, wine, sake and moonshine cocktails.

Guests must be 21 years of age to attend. Tickets are $225 per person (including tax and gratuity) and can be purchased here.

Chefs Morimoto and Smith will oversee the entire evening and will be available for photos and signing autographs.
