During our experience at this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP), the DIS Unlimited team enjoyed some exclusive holiday fare from the finest Italian spot on this side of Fantasyland…

In between the parade-watching, cookie collecting, and character meet & greets, The Pinocchio Village Haus continues to be one of the more reliable quick-service stops during Magic Kingdom party nights. But there’s one important detail to know: the restaurant closes earlier than the party itself. We visited a little after 9 PM during our MVMCP night, and thankfully caught it before the doors shut for the evening. If this location is on your must-eat list, check the hours via the Walt Disney World app and plan accordingly.

Upon ordering our food at the quick-service eatery, multiple Cast Members enthusiastically praised the seasonal items, especially the ravioli and dessert. They even mentioned that they had to call for backup from Tony’s Town Square early in the night after selling through the ravioli too quickly – that’s how popular it’s been!

Holiday Ravioli | $9.29
The standout of the night was hands-down the Holiday Ravioli. These breaded, fried ricotta-filled ravioli were topped with shredded parmesan and pesto, and each warm, crunchy bite was exactly what you want from a comfort-food holiday offering.

Our only criticism was the marinara base they sat in. It leaned noticeably acidic, which is pretty standard for theme-park Italian sauce, but it wasn’t necessary for the dish to shine. Even so, this was one of our favorite memories from our party night.

Italian Sausage & Meatball Lasagna Flatbread | $13.29
The flatbread was… fine. Good enough for theme-park quick service, but nothing that competes with the ravioli. It’s topped with a three-cheese Italian blend, creamy ricotta, pesto, Italian sausage, and meatballs. Solid toppings, yet we’re still confused about where the “lasagna” part comes in. And once again, the red sauce base leaned acidic. Still, it was tasty enough for a few bites before we moved on.

Snowflake Ornament | $5.79
Visually, this dessert is adorable – a white chocolate ornament filled with coconut-eggnog mousse and decorated with sugar snowflakes. Flavor-wise, the coconut and eggnog didn’t come through for us. Instead, we picked up light cinnamon and maybe a touch of nutmeg. The shell was fun to crack open, but the mousse inside had more of a gelatin-like texture, similar to the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse at Satu’li Canteen in Pandora. Cute, but not really a must-try.

Overall, the ravioli is the clear winner and worth a stop if you can make it to Pinocchio’s before they close for the night!
