Gingerbread Displays
Spotting the gingerbread displays around the Disneyland Resort is one of the best holiday traditions, and this year’s creations are worth seeking out. Each one is baked, built, and decorated by the resort’s pastry teams, who turn hundreds of pounds of ingredients into detailed seasonal showpieces.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
The Grand Californian’s annual lobby gingerbread house is back, and this year’s design takes inspiration from the hotel’s Craftsman-style architecture and the new Mickey’s Chistmas Carol Feast at Storytellers Cafe. The facade includes characters like Scrooge McDuck, plus 25 Hidden Mickeys tucked throughout. The pastry team used 520 pounds of gingerbread dough and invested 720 hours to complete the display.

Haunted Mansion Holiday – Disneyland Park
Inside Haunted Mansion Holiday, this year’s gingerbread house pays tribute to the Raven, a familiar presence in the mansion. Titled “A Murder Most Fowl,” the piece features 13 crows who have taken over while the Raven “takes a holiday.” Some of the birds even move or watch riders passing by with glowing red eyes.

This towering display stands 13 feet tall and required a team of eight pastry chefs, 20 days, and more than 200 pounds of gingerbread. The entire ballroom scene smells like real gingerbread, making it a must-see (and must-smell) during the season!
More Gingerbread Fun
Gingerbread isn’t limited to displays or treats this year. Chip ‘n’ Dale are meeting and greeting in their gingerbread-themed outfits in Town Square for a limited time, and you can also spot dancing gingerbread cookies in A Christmas Fantasy Parade as they make their way down Main Street, U.S.A.
