Black History Month is almost here, and Disney Parks are getting ready to Celebrate Soulfully once again with meaningful experiences, joyful entertainment, and delicious food at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
From uplifting gospel music and live performances to special menu items and colorful artwork, Celebrate Soulfully invites guests to experience Black culture and creativity in ways that feel uniquely Disney. Whether you’re visiting the parks in California or Florida, there are plenty of ways to take part throughout February.
Celebrate Soulfully at Disneyland Resort
At Disneyland Resort, Celebrate Soulfully brings music, art, and food together across the resort. The popular Celebrate Gospel concerts return to the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage for two weekends in 2026, February 20โ21 and February 27โ28. Grammy Award-winning artists Bishop Hezekiah Walker and Yolanda Adams will headline the event, joined by community choirs from across Southern California. Best of all, these concerts do not require park admission.

Guests can also explore a new heritage trail featuring displays honoring influential Black leaders, artists, and storytellers. These displays will appear throughout the resort, including Frontierland, Hollywood Land, and Main Street, U.S.A. Highlights include tributes to Leah Chase at Tiana’s Palace, Martha Blanding on Main Street, and Floyd Norman on Buena Vista Street.
Limited-time food offerings add even more flavor to the celebration. At Tiana’s Palace, guests can enjoy the French Quarter Fried Chicken Bowl, while Lamplight Lounge Boardwalk Dining will serve New Orleans BBQ Shrimp through March 2.

Celebrate Soulfully continues all year at Disneyland Resort with experiences like meeting Princess Tiana, riding Tianaโs Bayou Adventure, enjoying live jazz on Buena Vista Street, and spotting Joe Gardner from Soul at Pixar Place Hotel.
Celebrate Soulfully at Walt Disney World Resort

At Walt Disney World, the celebration kicks off with a special parade moment at Magic Kingdom on February 9. Toya Johnson-Rushing will serve as honorary Grand Marshal, leading a high-energy procession filled with music, characters, and Disney magic.

EPCOT joins the celebration during the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, where Black artists including Yesenia Moises, Ryan Riller, Larissa Brown, and Mark Page will showcase their work throughout February. The DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series also returns with powerful performances from stars of The Lion King, Aladdin, and more.

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Viva Gaia and the Tam Tam Drummers of Harambe bring infectious rhythms and dance to Discovery Island and Africa. Guests can also meet characters like Princess Tiana, Ariel from the live-action The Little Mermaid, and Frozone from The Incredibles.

Food lovers will find special treats at Disney Springs, including the Soulful New York Cheesecake Pop at The Ganachery and Wakandan Mousse at Amorette’s Patisserie. While there, guests can explore vibrant murals and artwork by talented Black artists throughout Disney Springs.

Celebrate Soulfully offers a meaningful way to experience Black History Month at Disney Parks, blending culture, creativity, and connection into unforgettable moments for the whole family.
