Disney’s Boardwalk Inn is an EPCOT Deluxe Resort with both resort rooms and Disney Vacation Club Villas. The theming matches a seaside boardwalk set back in the 1930’s and is within walking distance of EPCOT and a boat ride away from Hollywood Studios. The Boardwalk is also known for its popular restaurants like The Cake Bake Shop, Flying Fish, and Blue Ribbon Corn Dog.

While the real star is outside on the literal boardwalk, the Boardwalk’s lobby is the perfect introduction to this elevated experience of a time gone by. The theming really comes through in the carousel horse chandelier, carousel art of the Disney castles around the world, elephants, and unique decor straight from the golden age of carnival entertainment.

The rooms and resort finishes were updated a few years ago and feature more influence of Disney characters. You’ll spot character silhouettes on the lighting in the hallways and throughout the art in the rooms.

Resort Room – Club Level
The club level resort rooms are identical to the other resort rooms, with added benefits like access to the club level lounge and a dedicated concierge service. The updated rooms feel lighter while also incorporating warm textures like the upholstered plaid headboards, Disney silhouette curtains, and hidden Mickey accents.

I addition to overhead lighting, these rooms feature bedside pendants, reading lights, and a floor lamp to keep with the airy seaside theme.

The Boardwalk Inn rooms might have the most Mickey and friends touches of any of the Deluxe resorts. All of the art and textiles feature at least a hidden Mickey, giving the room more character (literally).

These rooms all sleep up to five with a convertible single sofa. The closet space, dresser, and split bathroom design all help to accommodate a larger party size.

The Boardwalk’s art is so great because it features Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy enjoying the Boardwalk. This is a rare difference from other Disney World resorts that feature Disney art but not of the resort itself.

Also unique to the Boardwalk, is the shower/ tub combo in most rooms. Most Disney World resorts have switched to the large shower concept which might make the space feel larger but can be tough for families with young children.

Pictured below is a resort view balcony in the club level section of the Boardwalk which is primarily on the fourth floor of the main building.

Deluxe Room – Club Level
Of the club level resort rooms, there are 10 deluxe rooms that are almost double the size of a standard room and feel more like a suite. There is even a large hallway to enter the room which would be great for storing luggage or a stroller.

The bathroom and main bedroom are the same as the standard rooms in both size and features but there is the addition of a living room space that’s the same size as the bedroom area. Both areas also have the same size dresser and TV.

The deluxe rooms sleep up to six – the key difference being a queen-sized sleeper sofa instead of a single. While there is no separation between the two areas, it still feels like a defined space and who doesn’t want two TVs on a family vacation?

The deluxe club level rooms all feature views of the Boardwalk just like this one! Best of all, you can enjoy the entertainment of the Boardwalk and still catch EPCOT’s Harmonious fireworks all from your balcony.

Club Level Lounge
The club level lounge at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn is called The Innkeeper’s Club and is also located on the fourth floor, guaranteeing you’re always a close walk to snacks and beverages throughout the day. The lounge is open from 6:30 am until 10:00 pm each day with rotating menu items.

The club level lounge has ample table seating and large windows overlooking the quiet pool. The beverages are located to the right and the hot and cold food items are located on a buffet to the left.

A great perk of the lounge offerings is the ability to grab and go items to take back to your room. Here’s a look at some of the juice, soda, milk, beer, and refrigerated snacks currently available.

In addition to beer, guest 21 and older can also enjoy white, red, and sparkling wine throughout the day. All of these items are included in your stay as a club level guest.

Disney’s Boardwalk Inn has benefited from its recent updates including refreshed rooms and club level lounge. If you haven’t stayed club level before, it’s a great way to enhance your time at a Walt Disney World Resort!
