The Walt Disney Company has announced a series of leadership changes across its Disney Experiences division, setting the stage for a new chapter as current chairman Josh D’Amaro prepares to step into the role of Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company.
As part of the transition, Thomas Mazloum will take over as Chairman, Disney Experiences, leading a global portfolio that includes Disney theme parks, cruise ships, resort hotels, consumer products, adventures and expeditions, and Walt Disney Imagineering.
“We’re in an unprecedented period of growth for Disney Experiences,” said Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences and incoming Chief Executive Officer of the Walt Disney Company. “This team will propel the world-class experiences Disney is known for to more guests across the globe.”
Mazloum brings extensive operational experience and international leadership to the role. Before joining Disney, he built his career in European luxury hospitality, gaining experience across high-end hotel operations, including food and beverage, guest services, and hotel management. He later served as Chief Operating Officer for Crystal Cruise Line.
Within Disney, Mazloum previously held senior leadership positions at Walt Disney World Resort before being named President, Disney Signature Experiences, where he helped develop a long-term growth strategy that included expanding the Disney Cruise Line fleet.
That expansion is already underway. Disney Cruise Line recently launched the Disney Adventure, its eighth ship and the brand’s first vessel homeported in Asia, based in Singapore.
Most recently, Mazloum served as President of Disneyland Resort, overseeing operations for both theme parks, three hotels, and the Downtown Disney District during the resort’s 70th anniversary celebration.
“Thomas Mazloum is an exceptional leader with a genuine appreciation for our cast members and a proven track record of delivering growth,” said D’Amaro. “His focus on service excellence, broad international leadership, and strong connection to the creativity that brings our stories to life make him the right leader to guide Disney Experiences into its next chapter.”
Alongside Mazloum’s promotion, Disney also announced several additional leadership appointments within the Disney Experiences division.
Jill Estorino has been named President, Disneyland Resort, where she will oversee the company’s original theme park destination in Anaheim, California. Estorino brings more than 35 years of Disney leadership experience to the position and previously served as President of Disney Parks International, overseeing operations and expansion at Disney’s parks and resorts outside the United States.
Tasia Filippatos will step into the role of President, Disney Parks International, where she will oversee Disney’s international parks, including Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disney Resort, and Tokyo Disney Resort, along with the company’s newest park development in Abu Dhabi.
Meanwhile, Lisa Baldzicki has been promoted to President, Disney Consumer Products. Baldzicki most recently led Parks Product Development and Retail, where she helped shape merchandising strategy across Disney’s domestic parks and guest retail experiences.
“As we look ahead, I have tremendous confidence in Thomas and in the leaders stepping into these roles – Jill, Tasia, and Lisa – along with the incredible leadership team across Disney Experiences,” said D’Amaro. “Together, they will continue to build on our momentum around the world, delivering the service, creativity and one-of-a-kind experiences that define Disney.”
The leadership changes will begin rolling out in the coming weeks, with all appointments scheduled to take effect March 18, 2026.
