Fans of the longtime dueling piano bar at Walt Disney World Resort have something to look forward to. After closing its doors at Disney’s BoardWalk last year, Jellyrolls is officially planning a return, this time in a brand-new location just minutes away.
According to company officials, the popular entertainment venue has secured a new space in the Lake Buena Vista area, less than 10 minutes from its former home. A grand opening is currently targeted for late summer or early fall.
“We’re excited to continue the legacy we’ve had and do our thing,” said Amber Antel, director of operations.

Jellyrolls operated at Disney’s BoardWalk since 1996 and became a favorite of the resort’s nightlife scene. The club closed on April 19, 2025, leaving many fans wondering if and when it would ever return. At the time, company leaders expressed hope that the show would go on elsewhere, and now that plan is becoming a reality.
According to an article in the Orlando Sentinel, the new location is being built out as a full entertainment venue and will include some notable improvements. Guests can expect easier access, including free parking and the ability to be dropped off directly at the entrance, something that was not possible at the BoardWalk location.
While the setting may be new, much of what made Jellyrolls popular will remain the same. The club will continue its signature dueling piano format, where performers take audience requests spanning everything from classic rock to Broadway tunes. The venue will also keep its well-known offerings, including specialty cocktails and its signature popcorn, and will remain a 21-and-over experience.
“We’re not going to change our standards,” said Scotty Kilwein, director of entertainment. “We want everyone to feel comfortable.”
Kilwein also noted that many familiar faces may return to the stage, as several performers have continued playing at special events around the area while fans eagerly await the reopening.
“It’s really nice that they care enough to ask and keep showing up,” he said.
In addition to bringing back the familiar experience, the new space will feature upgraded sound and lighting, along with a redesigned stage that puts the performers front and center.
“The room is being designed with the whole intention of the show being the focus,” he said. “It will be better for the musicians, and it will make everybody feel like they are part of the show.”
For fans who have missed the energy and spontaneity of Jellyrolls, the return can’t come soon enough. And according to Antel, the goal isn’t just to reopen, but to come back stronger.
“We wanted to give our clientele an even better experience,” she said. “We weren’t just looking for a new home, we were looking for the right home – one we intend to be in for a long time.”
Who else is excited?!
