Disney is making an important change to how guests experience Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Starting June 2, 2026, the attraction will move to a standby queue, officially ending the use of a virtual queue. This means guests will need to wait in a traditional line to experience the popular offering.
For the next few days, the current system will remain in place. The virtual queue will continue through June 1, and guests will need to use the My Disney Experience app to request access prior to being permitted to board the Wildlife Express Train. As we previously reported, a standby line is not available during the experience’s initial opening period.
During the virtual queue phase, each guest can request to join once per day during regular park hours, provided they have valid admission to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Depending on the type of ticket, a park reservation may also be required.
There are two daily opportunities to join the virtual queue:
- 7:00 AM (guests do not need to be inside the park)
- 10:00 AM (guests must be inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom)
The shift to standby comes quickly after the attraction’s debut and suggests Disney is ready to handle demand without the need for a virtual system. That’s typically a sign that operations are stabilizing, especially for a brand-new experience tied to a wildly popular property like Bluey.
If you’re planning to visit before June 2, you’ll still need to plan around those virtual queue drop times. After that, it’s back to a more familiar approach, just hop in line and go.
