Disney Dominates 2025 Theme Park Attendance Rankings

The 2025 theme park attendance numbers are in, and Disney continues to stay on top! According to the latest TEA Global Experience Index, Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World remains the most-visited theme park in the world, with an estimated 17.8 million visitors last year.

Disneyland Park in California wasn’t far behind, taking second place worldwide with approximately 17.4 million visitors. Even more impressively, Disney parks claimed eight of the top ten spots in the global rankings.

While Disney’s overall attendance remained relatively flat compared to 2024, the numbers show just how consistently popular its U.S. theme parks continue to be.

Disney Water Parks See Some Interesting Changes

Disney also had plenty to celebrate in the water park rankings.

Typhoon Lagoon remained North America’s most-visited water park, welcoming approximately 1.76 million guests in 2025. That put it ahead of Universal’s Volcano Bay, which recorded 1.6 million visitors.

But the biggest surprise was Blizzard Beach, where attendance jumped an impressive 50.5%, reaching 1.35 million visitors.

That increase came during a year when Disney operated both water parks simultaneously for the first time since 2019. It was also the first year Disney Resort hotel guests could enjoy complimentary water park admission on their check-in day.

Of course, these attendance figures are estimates rather than official Disney-reported totals, but they offer an interesting look at where guests spent their time in 2025.

With so many new attractions and experiences on the way to Walt Disney World and Disneyland, it’ll be interesting to see how these rankings change over the next few years!
