Last month, we told you that celebrity chef Guy Fieri and Planet Hollywood founder Robert Earl were working together on a quick serve concept called Chicken Guy! and today, Disney confirmed that the new restaurant will be opening in August at Disney Springs and shared some details of the menu.
Chicken Guy’s menu will featured hand-pounded and breaded chicken tenders and more than 20 varieties of sauces made in-house. The tenders can be grilled or fried, and can be ordered by themselves or on a chicken sandwich, like the Big Bite B.L.A.T., which includes bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato, and buttermilk ranch.
Chicken Guy! Fries come sprinkled with Fieri’s signature seasoning and can also be ordered Loaded, with “SUPER MELTY CHEESE,” chopped grilled chicken, bacon, and green onions. Mac Daddy Mac ‘n’ Cheese is also a side option.
For something a little lighter, try Chicken Guy! Salad Bowls, including a Chopped Chicken Caesar Salad, BBQ Chopped Chicken Salad, and Southwest Sweet Corn Salad.
Signature desserts include the Triple Double Mint, with hand-spun mint chocolate soft-serve with cookies and cream crumbles, chocolate mints, chocolate syrup, and fresh whipped cream; and the Cinnamon Apple which has hand-spun vanilla soft-serve, crunchy cinnamon cereal, cinnamon-apple cereal, and fresh whipped cream.
Chicken Guy! will be located next door to the Planet Hollywood Observatory. The exact opening date has not been announced.
