UPDATE: As of 2:15 p.m. Eastern, the massive crowds that were bursting at the seams in the entrance area at Magic Kingdom have dissipated and things appear to be back to normal as guests enter the park.
Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World are reporting on Twitter that there have been huge lines at Guest Services this morning. Apparently, a system failure preventing theme park tickets from being scanned is the cause of the issue, but we’re hearing that guests with MagicBands were able to enter the theme park.
