Star Wars: Episode VIII begins filming

Now that the buzz about Star Wars: The Force Awakens has died down slightly, Disney has released a small bit of information about the next films the franchise will release. Water permit filed for Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s Avatar expansion

The Orlando Business Journal is giving details of a new water permit filed by Walt Disney World that may give some insight into Animal Kingdom’s Avatar expansion. Travel + Leisure honors Aulani and other Disney resorts

Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, was recently honored by Travel + Leisure. The Hawaiian resort was named “World’s Best: Family Travel: Hawaii” in the company’s 2015 “World’s Best” Awards. Plans in place for Frozen holiday special and Broadway musical

A Frozen musical will be officially hitting Broadway in Spring 2018. Disney Theatrical Productions also said that they would do an out-of-town trial run in Summer 2017 before beginning on Broadway. New venue at ESPN Wide World of Sports to host cheerleading and dance events

We previously reported that a new 286,000-square-foot venue will be constructed at ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World, but it was not yet known what the space would be used for. Victoria & Albert’s given 17th AAA five-diamond distinction

For the 17th year in a row, Victoria & Albert’s restaurant at Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has been named a AAA five-diamond establishment. Among the 64 restaurants that received this distinction this year, there were two other Florida venues. These include Palme d’Or at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables and Victoria & Albert’s given 17th AAA five-diamond distinction
