Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach Close on 3/15-3/16 for Cold Weather

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach will be closed on Wednesday March 15th, and Thursday the 16th. The closures are due to the expected drop in temperature. Both days are expected to have highs in the mid 60s, and lows in the low 40s. According to the Orlando Sentinel, a Disney spokesman said that the Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach Close on 3/15-3/16 for Cold Weather

‘Tangled’ PhotoPass Opportunity Extended Beyond March 15

According to the Disney Parks Blog, guests at the Magic Kingdom will continue to be able to take a picture with “a luminous lantern” outside of Rapunzel Tower. This Disney PhotoPass Service has been extended beyond March 15, which is when it was originally scheduled to end. Disney CEO Iger to Stay on Trump’s Advisory Council

The Walt Disney Company had an annual meeting for their investors on Wednesday. The discussion became political, and Disney CEO Bob Iger was questioned from both liberal and conservative investors about the media, immigration, and his role on President Trump’s advisory council. Additional Rivers of Light Performances Beginning March 11

Rivers of Light, the new nighttime show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, will now have two performances every night. This change will begin March 11.
