Disney confirms Guardians of the Galaxy coming to California Adventure

Disney announced today at San Diego Comic-Con that the rumored Guardians of the Galaxy re-boot of Tower of Terror IS coming to Disney California Adventure. Disneyland offering Anaheim sixth-graders free tickets to encourage volunteerism

The Disneyland Resort has announced a new decade-long program that they’re calling the Happiest Class on Earth: Anaheim 6th Graders Making a Difference. As part of the program, every sixth-grader that attends an elementary school in Anaheim (or a school where most of its students live in Anaheim) will have an opportunity to earn a Disneyland offering Anaheim sixth-graders free tickets to encourage volunteerism

Disney World cast member fired after tweeting backstage sign about alligators

A Magic Kingdom cast member was fired (then later rehired) after posting a picture on Twitter of an unauthorized sign telling cast members how to respond to guests about alligators. The Anaheim City Council has approved tax incentives for three new luxury hotels, the first to be built under a policy that was approved last June. Disneyland releases new look at Star Wars-themed land

The Disneyland Resort recently added a new concept image on one of the construction fences surrounding the 14-acres that will eventually become a Star War-themed land. Chief Disneyland photographer retires

This week, Paul Hiffmeyer, 70, retired from Disney after spending 10 years as the official Disneyland photographer. After serving in the Marines, Hiffmeyer took a job at McDonnell Douglas, but the love of photography that he had as a boy never waned, so he took some classes at Santa Ana College to expand his hobby…and Chief Disneyland photographer retires
