Disney’s private island in the Bahamas is called Castaway Cay. Cay is pronounced like ‘key’ even though it doesn’t look like it due to the way it’s spelled. Castaway Cay serves as the exclusive port for the Disney Cruise Line ships and it’s so gorgeous that many cruisers sail exclusively with Disney Cruise Line just so they can visit the island paradise.
The lush and beautiful island is located near Great Abaco Island and was formerly known as Gorda Cay. There is actually an official Bahamian post office on the island and if you mail something from there, it will have an official Castaway Cay postmark.
