Disneyland FASTPASS and MaxPass Information

Disney's FASTPASS is a FREE service that allows you to make a reservation and enjoy specific Disneyland Resort attractions with little or no wait. Just look for the FASTPASS machines at the attractions listed below and check on the FASTPASS return time. This will be the time you will be able to return and use your FASTPASS. If this time will work for you, insert your park admission ticket (Park Hopper, One-Day Pass or Annual Pass) into the machine and you will receive your FASTPASS ticket to remind you of your return time. Now, you are ready to go and enjoy other attractions until your return time. When you return, simply scan your admission ticket at the entrance to the attraction (and keep your FASTPASS ticket as a souvenir).

Disneyland is currently testing a new centralized kiosk system in Tomorrowland. Guests will scan their ticket and use the touch screen to select the attraction they would like a FASTPASS for. Paper FASTPASS tickets will no longer be printed.

Disney MaxPass

MaxPass is a paid service that allows guests to make FASTPASS reservations from their smartphone. Guests purchasing MaxPass also receive PhotoPass benefits.

The cost for Disney MaxPass is $20 per person per day. MaxPass is included with Premier and Signature Plus Annual Passes, and can be added to other Annual Passes for $125.

MaxPass can only be used while in the theme parks. Guests can create a Disney MaxPass Party, but all other guests must have purchased MaxPass and have activated their ticket for the day.

The rules for using FASTPASS remain the same (see FAQs below).

The following attractions currently offer FASTPASS:

Single Rider Line

Although FASTPASS is a great way to beat the long lines, Disneyland also offers Single Rider lines.  If you’re willing to split up your party, you will be seated in any open seats on the ride.

Article: Disneyland as Single Rider

The below attractions currently offer the Single Rider option.  If you can’t locate the Single Rider line, see the Cast Member at the entrance and they will direct you. This is great if you have teenagers who tend to ride the same ride over and over again.

Rider Switch

The Rider Switch program allows multiple adults to experience an attraction while one adult waits with a child, then "switch" to enable the other adult to enjoy the attraction.

Rider Switch is available for all atractions with height requirements.  Check with a Cast Member at the entrance to each attraction for instructions.
