The Lunar New New Year celebration at Disney California Adventure is a tribute to the time-honored traditions, festivities and ceremonies of this multi-cultural occasion. The Paradise Gardens area comes to life with food and entertainment.

During the Lunar New Year celebration, Paradise Garden Grill converts to a menu that celebrates a broad range of Asian cultures. In addition, four new marketplaces highlight the cuisines of Asia. Purchase a Sip and Savor Pass for for a better value.

During Lunar New Year, live performers and musicians perform throughout the area!
Several times a day, Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession makes its way into the area, with the traditional dragon, dancers, drummers, and martial artists, plus a special appearance by the Mickey and Minnie for the Year of the Mouse.
The Paradise Garden Bandstand features several performers on a rotating basis, including Melody of China, a group that uses traditional instruments.
Each evening, Hurry Home - A Lunar New Year Celebration will take place on Paradise Bay before World of Color.
Activities
Paradise Gardens is also home to several fun activities, including a chance to learn more about Asian cultures or meet some of your favorite Disney characters, including Mickey, Minnie, Mulan, Pluto, and the Three Little Pigs.
Mulan, Mushu and more are dressed in their Lunar New Year best to celebrate and pose for pictures with you.
Nearby, calligraphy artists show off their skills and younger guests can color and a paper lantern fan.
Finally, you add your wish for the New Year to the Wishing Wall.
