Disability Access Service Registration Window Extended for Disney World & Disneyland

Following the recent wording change to Walt Disney World’s Disability Access Service (DAS) policy, Disney has extended the length of the registration window at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World. This update is now in effect.

The newest change to the DAS program is an extended registration window for the service. Previously, guests were required to determine their DAS eligibility by chatting with a Cast Member 30 days prior to their park visit. Disney has updated the wording on their website, expanding this window to 60 days, doubling the length of the registration period.

The process for applying to the DAS program has not changed; guests must still schedule a video chat and meet the criteria, determined by a Disney Cast Member. However, guests now have up to two months to determine if they will be admitted into the DAS program prior to the beginning of their planned park trip.
