Today the Disneyland Resort, somewhat quietly, raised prices on all Annual Passport levels, completely eliminated one level, and created two new levels.
Gone is the $779 Premium Pass, that was good 365 days a year with no black out days. In its place are two levels of Signature Passport. Both offer similar benefits to the Premium Pass, plus one new benefit.
The new Disney Signature Plus Passport is $1,049 and offers admission 365 days a year, discounts on food and merchandise, theme park parking, and free Disney PhotoPass digital downloads. The PhotoPass benefit is new.
The Disney Signature Passport is $849 and offers admission approximately 350 days a year. The 15 days surrounding Christmas and New Years Day are blocked out for this Pass. The remaining benefits are the same as the Signature Plus Pass.
The price for the Disney Deluxe Passport increased from $549 to $599. The benefits remain the same, including admission approximately 320 pre-selected days a year plus discounts on food and merchandise.
The Southern California Annual Passport, which is only available as a renewal, increased from $389 to $439. The Southern California Pass offers admission approximately 229 pre-selected days a year.
The Southern California Select Annual Passport went from $299 to $329 and offers admission approximately 175 pre-selected days a year.
Passholders can add parking to the Deluxe Pass or either Southern California Pass for $199 per year.
Speaking of parking, base rates at the Mickey & Friends parking structure or Toy Story parking lot increased from $17 to $18 today.
Rates on parking at the resort hotels increased as well, however, according to a Cast Member at the Grand Californian Hotel, further increases are expected soon.
The last increase on Disneyland tickets and Annual Passports was in February of this year, when the Premium Pass increased over 11%.
