Guests visiting Disney California Adventure Park will be able to celebrate the Year of the Horse when Lunar New Year returns to the park from January 23 through February 22, 2026. The annual celebration brings together food, entertainment, décor, and cultural traditions inspired by Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures, all centered on wishes for health, luck, and prosperity in the year ahead.
Throughout the festival, guests can enjoy a variety of live entertainment offerings. Highlights include Hurry Home – A Lunar New Year Celebration, a special water short shown just before World of Color – ONE. On select days, Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession will make its way through the park, featuring Mulan, Mushu, Chip, Dale, and a lively group of performers celebrating the season.

Food remains a major draw of the festival, with Lunar New Year Marketplaces and select park restaurants serving up limited-time dishes inspired by Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cuisine. Guests can purchase a collectible Sip and Savor Pass to sample select food and nonalcoholic beverages, and mobile order will be available at marketplaces, allowing guests to pick up items by presenting their receipt at each location’s pickup window.
Character encounters are another fan-favorite part of the celebration. Guests can meet Mulan and Mushu, Raya, Meilin and Ming from Turning Red, and Goofy and Clarabelle, who will debut colorful new costumes inspired by traditional Vietnamese attire.

In addition to food and entertainment, the park will feature themed décor, interactive activities, and the Lunar New Year Wishes Wall, where guests can add their hopes for the coming year. Limited-time merchandise and festive novelties will also be available, giving visitors a chance to take a piece of the celebration home.

The fun extends beyond the park, with additional Lunar New Year offerings planned at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort and Downtown Disney District. With its mix of culture, cuisine, and Disney magic, Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure offers guests plenty of ways to ring in the Year of the Horse.
