5) The Entrance To Epcot During Flower and Garden Festival
The Flower and Garden Festival is hands down the most beautiful time to visit Epcot. The entire park comes alive with the addition of the topiaries, the floating flower beds, the festival marketplaces, and so much more. The front of the park is a particularly beautiful area of Epcot in the morning. I love the juxtaposition of the flowers and nature during the Flower and Garden Festival with the giant futuristic sphere of Spaceship Earth.
4) The Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland At Night
I love Tomorrowland, and there is no better time to witness its allure than at night. When the neon lights turn on, Tomorrowland easily becomes my favorite place to be in the Magic Kingdom. I think the transformation that Tomorrowland makes between day and night is drastic. Personally, I think the metallic overlay looks boring and clunky in the daytime, but when the lights turn on at night, it truly feels like guests are stepping into the future. Because this area of the park is so well lit at night it makes it easier to take decent pictures even on your smartphone. I love taking a ride on the PeopleMover at the end of the night just to look over the beauty of this area of the park at night.
3) The Top Of Disneyland’s Train Stations Looking Down Main Street U.S.A.
There is no better view of Disneyland’s Main Street U.S.A. than from the top of the train station. As much as I love the same view in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, I think there is something special to look down Walt’s original park from this viewpoint. Because the buildings on Main Street U.S.A. were not used as offices in Disneyland like they are in the Magic Kingdom, the forced perspective makes Disneyland’s Main Street U.S.A. look more charming.
2) Fireworks In The Magic Kingdom
There is a lot of excitement surrounding the new Disneyland Forever Fireworks, and rightfully so; it is a beautiful combination of fireworks, projections, and special effects. Yet, there is still something about Wishes Nighttime Spectacular that makes it my personal favorite. Every time I stand in the middle of Main Street U.S.A. and look up at Cinderella’s Castle with the giant fireworks bursting in the background it takes my breath away.
1) Disneyland’s HUB
There is a charm to the Disneyland Park that the Magic Kingdom lacks. I think this all stems from Disneyland’s HUB. In my opinion there is no prettier place in any of the domestic Disney Parks then in Disneyland’s HUB. The trees and the flowers all surrounding the Partners statue make this area truly seem magical. Disneyland’s HUB is the perfect example of what a Disney Imagineer should strive for when creating something new. The charm and beauty of Disneyland’s HUB invites guests in, and it really make Disneyland feel like home.
