May 1, 2019 marks the 30th Anniversary of Disney’s Hollywood Studios and a special After Hours event is taking place at the theme park that night. Guests who attend will be able to meet Disney and Disney Pixar friends along with Star Wars favorites for special photo opportunities. As with all of the Disney After Hours events, attendees will also experience little to no-wait on their favorite attractions such as The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Toy Story Land attractions, and more.
A special encore performance of Wonderful World of Animation will take place solely for event attendees that evening as well. Special 30th-anniversary merchandise will be available for purchase on May 1 as well as a variety of special anniversary food & beverage items, including Kylo Ren Cupcakes, Incredibles Macarons, Tres Leches Verrine, and many others. Tickets can be purchased now on Disney’s site.
On May 4, a special May the Fourth celebration will be taking place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Throughout the evening, Star Wars fans will have the opportunity to meet Chewbacca with Rey, Kylo Ren with Captain Phasma, and more. There will also be special themed merchandise and treats available for purchase. Tickets can be purchased now on Disney’s site.
