Walt Disney World Resort’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will host American Idol’s first audition on Saturday, August 25th. This audition will kick off the newest season of American Idol as the judges tour over 20 cities, searching for the next singing sensation.
Contestants traveling to Disney World to audition will also have the opportunity to see Season 1 winner Maddie Poppe, runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson and finalist Catie Turner who are all making special appearances.
Auditions begin at 9 a.m., but parking is available at 4 a.m. and registration begins at 7 a.m., so early arrival is strongly encouraged. Overnight camping is not permitted at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
