Asian Street Eats and Updated Jamba Juice Coming to Downtown Disney

The Disneyland Resort has announced a new eatery and an update to an old favorite are both coming soon to Downtown Disney.

Late this year, Asian Street Eats by Chef Hung Huynh will open on the west end of Downtown Disney. The new concept, featuring a take-out window, will serve a menu that includes rice bowls, scallion pancake wraps, pot stickers, Japanese teas and sodas, and mochi for dessert.

Asian Street Eats is from the same restaurant group as Earl of Sandwich and is expected to open for the holiday season.

Chef Hung competed and won Season 3 of Bravo’s Top Chef and has worked with chefs at some of the most prestigious restaurants in the country.

In another area of Downtown Disney, Jamba Juice will soon be getting a new name and a new store design.

The simplified Jamba, the company feels, better represents the current menu of smoothies, juices, and bowls.

Later this year, Jamba will close to begin a makeover inspired by its California juice-shop roots. The first store opened in 1990 in San Luis Obispo, near the central coast of California.

Look for modern touches of light wood and colorful environmental elements. Digital menus and a new online order system are also on the way.

Jamba is expected to reopen in early 2020.
