Triple Force Friday is happening this week, with it’s massive release of Star Wars products, and some of the merchants at Disney Springs are getting in on the action with new merchandise, themed treats, and special offers.
The major events are happening at World of Disney and The LEGO Store, which will be open from midnight to 3:00am to give guests a chance to grab the new merchandise. Guests can get a numbered wristband beginning at 6:00pm on Thursday, October 3, from a Cast Member near Basin. The Lime or Grapefruit parking garages offer the easiest access for the Force Friday festivities.
While waiting to shop, guests can use the wristband to access a special offer at The VOID – Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire (through 11pm).
Guests can also keep their energy up with some special treats including Mini Chewbacca Cakes from Amorette’s Patisserie (starting at 9pm), Lightsaber Churros (starting at 11pm) and themed cocktails from Outdoor Vending Carts, and Breakfast Poutine from The Daily Poutine (until 3am).
Over at the Marketplace Stage, join other fans for a galactic dance party from 9:00pm to 2:00am.
For guests that aren’t able to make it to the special shopping hours, remaining merchandise will be available at select locations during normal operating hours on October 4th.
The LEGO Store is continuing the fun with special events throughout the weekend:
- 10/4-6 12pm-7pm: LEGO Millennium Falcon Build – Work with Master Builders Chris Steininger and Erik Varszegi to help build a massive LEGO Millennium Falcon
- 10/6 10am-1pm: Imperial Star Destroyer Set Signing – Get your set signed when you meet by LEGO Star Wars Senior Designer, Henrick Anderson and Creative Director, Jens Kronvold Frederiksen
- 10/6 7:30pm: Star Wars Panel: Bringing the Galaxy to Life – Join our expert guests from LEGO and Walt Disney Imagineering as they discuss what it’s like to bring Star Wars to life
In addition to The LEGO Store and World of Disney, look for Star Wars products at Star Wars Galactic Outpost, Star Wars Trading Post, havaianas, UNIQLO, Stance, Lovepop, and more, plus on October 8th, visit PANDORA for the release of new Star Wars charms.
