Xonia Book, a plainclothes operative at Walt Disney World, filed a lawsuit against the company and the judge has decided that it will be split into two.
Book sued Disney in 2014, claiming that company managers discriminated against her because she is Colombian. A Disney spokeswoman also said that Book’s lawsuit is “without merit.” There was no comment from Merklinger, and it was not made clear if she would be represented by a Disney attorney.
