At the Disneyland Resort, the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve is typically one of the busiest times of the year, especially at Disneyland Park. 2017 is proving to be no exception.
Yesterday, for example, between large crowds and a power outage that affected two lands, Disneyland Park closed to new guests and was only accepting guests for re-entry for several hours during the afternoon.
As of 11:15 am today, the Disneyland Resort has temporarily stopped selling tickets for Disneyland Park. Tickets for Disney California Adventure are still available and guests that already have tickets or annual passes can still access Disneyland Park.
UPDATE: At 12:55 pm, all restrictions on ticket sales were lifted.
To avoid any capacity issues, it’s best to arrive early in the day if visiting Disneyland Park. Plan on visiting California Adventure if arriving later in the day. For guests parking at the resort, the Mickey & Friends garage sometimes closes to capacity, so heading straight to the Toy Story Lot could save time.
We will continue to monitor the situation at Disneyland and bring you updates as things change.
