Disneyland Moves Construction Walls Revealing New Brickwork, Streetcar Tracks

The Disneyland Resort is right in the middle of a huge construction project on Disneyland Park‘s Main Street U.S.A. where the entire track for the Horse-Drawn Streetcars is being replaced, causing the Main Street Vehicles to be parked for more than two months.

The construction is set to continue through mid-March, but according to @Johnny17369 and others on Twitter, some of the construction walls have been removed, revealing the updated brickwork and tracks.

Over on Facebook, I Support the Disneyland Flag Retreat Ceremony, a fan group that supports the daily event, reports that the construction in Town Square has progressed far enough for the Flag Retreat Ceremony to return on Friday, February 23rd.

While pieces of the track have been replaced and repaired over the years, this is the first time that the entire track has been replaced.
