This weekend, just as Marvel’s Black Panther began breaking records at both the domestic and international box office, T’Challa himself began meeting guests at Disney California Adventure.
Black Panther, the King of Wakanda, arrives in Hollywood Land aboard an armored vehicle, along with his Royal Guards, the Dora Milaje, and greets guests in front of the Hollywood Backlot Stage.
Black Panther focuses on King T’Challa of Wakanda who, after the death of his father, returns home to the isolated, yet technologically advanced nation, to take his rightful place on the throne, but must battle an old enemy that puts the fate of Wakanda, and the entire world, at risk.
Black Panther isn’t the only superhero guests can meet in Hollywood Land, with Captain America and Spider-Man greeting guests at the end of Hollywood Boulevard, and Groot posing for pictures after Star Lord and Gamora’s Awesome Dance-Off. Check the times guide when you enter the park for details!
