Changes Coming to World of Disney in 2018

The World of Disney locations in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort and in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort will undergo some enhancements beginning sometime in the middle of February. Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire Opened Today in Downtown Disney

Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire celebrated the opening of its Downtown Disney location this morning, complete with stormtroopers and dignitaries. The new virtual reality experience put together by teams from ILMxLAB and The VOID transports guests into the Star Wars universe in a multi-sensory experience. Disneyland’s Main Street Vehicles and Dumbo Closing for Major Refurbishments

January 8th closures for both Disneyland’s Main Street Vehicles and Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction have been on the schedule for awhile, but until now we didn’t know the extent of the work being done. Power Outage Affects Disneyland Park

On one of the busiest days of the year at the Disneyland Resort, a power outage is affecting some areas of Disneyland Park. According to reports, power went out at about 11:00am in both Toontown and Fantasyland due to issues with a transformer. Guests were escorted off of several rides in the those areas.
