Stan Lee, the creative mind behind many of your favorite Marvel super heroes, was hospitalized briefly on Thursday due to shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat.
According to an interview Lee, 95, did with KABC, the hospitalization was brief and he is back home and “feeling great.”
In addition to his past work writing and publishing at Marvel Comics, Lee is known for his cameos in each of the Marvel Studios movies. In fact, Monday evening, Lee attended the premiere for Black Panther, the new film featuring the character he helped create back in 1966.
Regarding his hospitalization, Lee told KABC, “I’m glad I spent that evening in the hospital. It did me a lot of good. It probably did my fans a lot of good. It kept me off their backs for the evening. But I’m feeling good now and I can’t wait to get in there and tangle with all the competition.”
