With Maleficent: Mistress of Evil hitting theaters soon, the folks at the Disneyland Resort are getting reading to make sure you don’t miss out on experiencing encounters with the horned fairy.
We already told you that beginning Friday, the Sunset Showcase Theater will be hosting a sneak peek of the new film each evening following daily performances of Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Disney California Adventure.
At Elias & Co. in California Adventure and the Emporium in Disneyland Park, look for new Maleficent tees and accessories starting September 30th.
Also in Disneyland, Maleficent might be spotted near Sleeping Beauty Castle posing for pictures. At night, stop by the Villains Dance Party at the Tomorrowland Terrace, where you may encounter Maleficent, Dr. Facilier, or even Captain Hook.
At California Adventure and Downtown Disney, there will soon be some new photo walls where guests can spread their wings and pose like Maleficent for a social media worthy picture.
Don’t forget the Maleficent Churro that is currently available in Town Square and near Sleeping Beauty Castle. The sweet treat is covered with chocolate cookie crumbles blended with color sugar and served with marshmallow dipping sauce.
Later, grab a Maleficent Apple, which is coated in chocolate and decorated with candies, colored sugar, and colored chocolate. Look for it October 19-31 at Candy Palace and Hunny Spot in Disneyland; Trolley Treats and Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff at California Adventure; and Marceline’s Confectionery in Downtown Disney.
If that still isn’t enough Maleficent for you, take in the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough dioramas or close out your night with Fantasmic!, where she transforms into a 45-foot fire-breathing dragon.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is in theaters beginning October 18th.
